If Grimm's Nick Burkhardt is looking for a New Year's resolution, he should contemplate swearing off women, particularly those of the supernatural variety.

'Grimm' Season 5 Spoilers: How Will Nick React To THAT Shocking Return? Bitsie Tulloch Talks Eve

If losing his hexenbiest fiancé wasn't emotionally scaring enough, the Grimm had to quickly shove his pain aside in order to enter a domestic coexistence with the mother of his child. Now, in the wake of "Wesen Nacht," Nick (David Giuntoli) will have to deal with his burgeoning feelings for Adalind (Claire Coffee) while adjusting to the idea that Eve has the looks and memories - if not the emotional attachments - of Juliette.

Fortunately for 'shippers, new photos for the midseason premiere indicate the cop will make not use 2016 to kick his love of hexenbiests. In fact, the entire Juliette/Eve situation may push him even closer to Adalind. Unless the wesen is examining Nick's face for flaws (she won't find any, btw), the pair might be ready for a kiss during "The Return."

'Grimm' Season 5: Eve Is A 'Ruthless Weapon', Can Nick Accept The Change?

"[The Nick-Adalind relationship] is going to have a life of its own with out the Juliette/Eve [aspect], because they have a kid," series co-creator David Greenwalt cautioned, according to TV Line, but writer stopped short of saying if Nick's "wild reaction" to Eve's appearance will lower his guard.
