NCIS star Pauley Perrette is honestly probably one of the most compassionate actresses you'll meet in Hollywood!

Are 'NCIS' Star Michael Weatherly's New Year's Resolutions For 2016 'Unimaginably Easy'?

Earlier this year a homeless person attacked her, but she still remains kindhearted to the homeless population regardless of that experience, as she knows their lives matter too.

Perrette revealed on Twitter early Wednesday morning about her latest experience with a homeless man while she waited for food from a drive-through for a late night snack.

Who Did 'NCIS' Star Pauley Perrette Send A Fruit Bouquet From Edible Arrangements To On Christmas?

"And the #homeless plight continues," she shared before launching into all the details.

Why did Perrette go out past midnight for food? Well, simply she "was hungry" since she is blood type O+ and she didn't get a big enough intake of protein.

She called up Uber so she could go grab "some eggs" to munch on to curb her appetite. Perrette wound up in "a fancy SUV" and while waiting at the drive-through for her eggs a homeless man "knocked on the passenger window," which led to the actress chatting with him.

"I'm hungry and I'm cold," the man told her, adding, "Could you get me a cheeseburger?"

The NCIS star obliged and then learned this homeless man goes by "Priest" and that he resides in "The Hole," which she explained is "a piece of gov't property beside the on-ramp of the 101 Freeway that homeless people have been inhabiting."

She asked "Priest" about how many others were there that night and upon his reply ordered another 20 cheeseburgers so she could feed them.

While they waited, Perrette invited "Priest" into the Uber SUV and discussed what homeless people need since the actress has a meeting coming up with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.

"Priest" weighed in saying "stronger SSI," which is Supplemental Security Income that the government oversees to provide stipends to low-income people that meet certain requirements. He also revealed housing is important as well as treatment for the mentally ill since that is a huge issue within the homeless community.

Perrette's kindness didn't end there though. She even invited "Priest" to church and left her Uber driver floored by her actions.

"Well, that goes down as the most interesting fare I've ever had," her driver revealed.

At the end of her detailed passage about her late night snack run she divulged, "We have to figure this out. Someone smarter than me will. I have hope."

She is really set on improving the homeless situation as much as possible, which is truly wonderful.

NCIS airs on CBS at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesdays.
