We are celebrating the best moments of The Good Wife's season 7 as it's played out in 2015 so far.

Could Hillary Clinton Guest Star In An Upcoming Episode?

There have been some pretty great developments which kept us hooked to this chapter of the CBS legal drama this year. Here are the five that top the list:

1. Eli's (Alan Cumming) confession of keeping Will's (Josh Charles) voice mail--profession of love to Alicia (Juliana Margulies). This was a shocker for fans, and probably the biggest highlight of the first half of the season, which will set the tone for the second half.

2. Luca Quinn's (Cush Jumbo) partnership with Alicia: Luca Quinn is our favorite new character on the show, and injects some much needed spunk on the show. Her witty and youthful vivacity really energizes the show and also keeps Alicia on her feet.

3. Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Alicia's almost romance: The deep baritone and somber demeanor of Jason could make any girl swoon. Even though Jason revealed in the midseason finale that he might be moving away, fans are still rooting for this possible couple to work things out.

4. Cary's (Matt Czuchry) character arc: Cary was very testy through the first half of the season, realising he was feeling misplaced with the more senior partners and their attitude towards younger associates. Moving forward, Cary tried to win camaraderie with the associates but it kind of fired back on him. He eventually helps his partners get back at the associates for betraying the firm and trying to get a hike.

5. The Hillary Cinton angle: Although we are still waiting to see this play out more vividly, the writing team really hit this one out of the park. To pit Peter (Chris Noth) against real-life Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton is a genius move. Now we're just hoping we get to see some reflections of the campaign as it is in the upcoming episodes.

Season 7 will return on January 10.
