'American Horror Story: Hotel' News: Matt Bomer Talks Lady Gaga's Invaluable Career Advice [VIDEO]
Matt Bomer recently spoke about some advice Lady Gaga lent him while working together of FX's American Horror Story: Hotel.
Bomer and Gaga share the screen quite frequently on American Horror Story: Hotel, and as such, the pop superstar has imparted some advice on him. The actor explained it in a new interview with Men's Fitness (via E! Online):
"It was something that actually Lady Gaga had said to me. She said a lot of creating a name and a place for yourself in this business is just having the heart to staying in the game," Bomer recalled. "A lot of it is learning how to get up and dust yourself off and stand up against adversity or whoever may be an obstacle for you and having the heart to stay open as an artist and creative as an artist."
Considering the shocking content featured in American Horror Story, Bomer spoke about how the first script he received was a bit of a jolt for him.
"I got the first script and thought to myself, 'Holy s-, what the f- is this? This is crazy!'" Bomer said. "I put it down a few times and took a deep breath and went, 'OK. We're just going to have to commit to this world.'"
As we saw in the last scene of American Horror Story's latest episode, Bomer's character, Donovan's, fate is still unknown as the final two episodes of the season approach.
American Horror Story: Hotel airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
