Throughout the years, ABC's Dancing With the Stars had brought its mass U.S. audience a wide array of character celebrities ranging from Baywatch standout Pamela Anderson to reality starlet Kim Kardashian. However, a brand new name unlike any other has now surfaced to be really close to landing the popular gig, Honey Boo Boo's Mama June.

Wet Paint is reporting that while the future cast of the show will not be announced until Tuesday, February 26 on Good Morning America during a live broadcast, June is considered a strong frontrunner for a spot in the ballroom.

The Stir also thinks that June would make a great addition to the show due to her natural humor and such a decision would be one of the ABC network's smartest.

While such a move would serve to whip Mama June into arguably the best shape of her life, she has recently claimed to have dropped over 100 pounds in the past couple of years without any diets or workouts.

TMZ had recently posted a picture of June revealing the pounds that she's reportedly shed. June stated that she was tipping the scales at 365 pounds when Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was first began being taped back in January of 2011. However, she went on the record to say that she's now slimmed down to a much healthier 263 lbs.

"I haven't done any surgeries ... no diet pills ... never went to the gym." However, the reality program has apparently kept her more active. "They have me running around and going different places ... I guess it's paying off," Mama June said.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo revolves around the life and family of a six-year-old beauty pageant contestant named Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson. While most of the girls around her age are playing with dolls, Honey Boo Boo instead competes on stage in beauty pageants for prizes. The cameras follow her family living life on a shoestring budget in the small town of McIntyre, Ga.
