The Vikings prince held his own in Paris, but after the events of the upcoming premiere, Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) will need to prove his worth once more. Ragnar's (Travis Fimmel) eldest son will fall in his father's eyes, and the young warrior will battle his way through a frozen hell to reclaim the King's pride.
Once out in the wilderness, Bjorn will fall prey to the most trying of circumstances.

"Very, very nasty things happen to him," series creator Michael Hirst teased, according to TV Insider.
While Bjorn Ironside has a long a storied future in front of him, many of Kattegat's finest won't be so lucky. If you thought their trip to France was bloody, you should brace yourself for the spring run.
"We've definitely topped the raid on Paris," Hirst explained. "There are going to be casualties."
Vikings will return to the History Channel on Feb. 18. The supersized season will consist of 20 episodes starting with "A Good Treason," "Kill the Queen," "Mercy," and "Yol."
