'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers: Who Will Maggie Save From Car Crash—Brady Or Eric? [PHOTO]
Daniel's (Shawn Christian) life won't be the only one that is at stake on Days of Our Lives.
The horrific New Year's Eve car crash that will send him, Brady (Eric Martsolf), Eric (Greg Vaughn) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) to the hospital will lead to Daniel's death, and after Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) learns there is no hope of saving her son's life, she will pull the plug. However, Daniel will be able to give one last extraordinary gift before his death-his heart.
However, both Brady and Eric will need it in order to survive-and Maggie will be forced to choose between the two to decide which one will get the vital organ. However, it will be like signing a death sentence for one of them, and Maggie will be torn between which one she gives the ability to live to, free and clear.
Considering that Greg Vaughn is leaving the show, as well as Shawn Christian, it could be very possible that Maggie will choose to give the heart to Brady, who has Theresa (Jen Lilley) and Tate who need him.
Vaughn confirmed his exit back in December, revealing he did not choose to leave the show, and that his decision to renew his contract in August was only an extension to wrap up the character's storyline. Because the show tapes 6 months in advance, an extension in August would peg Eric's exit for early in 2016. If he does not die after failing to receive the heart he needs.
However, it was never confirmed if Eric would be killed off, or if Vaughn was just exiting the role.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
