Has 'Dancing With the Stars' Judge Bruno Tonioli Been Bitten By The Acting Bug?

Goodman took off the latest season of Dancing With the Stars to be with family in the U.K. This was the first time Goodman wasn't the head judge on Dancing With the Stars.

Ballas recently spoke with International Business Times about a variety of topics, including Goodman's absence from the most recent season.

Was Mark Ballas Truly Surprised By His 'DWTS' Elimination?

"Len brings something to the show that I felt was a little bit absent this season--his grumpiness and his attention to tradition and you know, we need that," Ballas said. "He's such a staple of the show, he was definitely missed."

Luckily, Goodman announced at the latest Dancing With the Stars finale that he will be coming back for season 22 in the spring. Ballas spoke on Goodman's upcoming return:

"I don't think it will affect anything drastically. I think it will be great to have him back. It'll be nice to see him at the judges' table--I never thought I'd ever say that (laughs)," Ballas admitted.

Goodman is expected to return alongside regular judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. The new celebrity cast (along with the returning pros) should be announced in the weeks leading up to the season 22 premiere in March. Stay close to Enstars as the premiere approaches.

Dancing With the Stars returns for a new season Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
