There is no hope for bringing Daniel (Shawn Christian) back from the dead, and now, his last wish to have his organs help someone in need will come true with his heart being donated to one of two men who were a big part of his life: Brady (Eric Martsolf) or Eric (Greg Vaughan). Here's what's to come on Days of Our Lives.

Chad Stunned When He Learns He's Thomas' Father

All three men, as well as Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), were involved in a horrific car crash on New Year's Eve after Eric drove drunk. Jennifer suffered injuries but was mostly okay after the wreck, but the men were not. Daniel suffered a traumatic brain injury and was declared brain dead, though he was kept on a respirator and other machines because of his organ donor status. Brady suffered trauma to his heart, which needs replacing, and Eric was discovered to have an infection which qualifies him for a transplant.

Now, after debating for a while, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) will need to reveal her decision as to which man--her husband Victor's (John Aniston) grandson, or her good friend Marlena's (Deirdre Hall) son--will receive the heart her son no longer needs. And making her choice will cause her to breakdown even more after already reeling from the sudden death of her goodhearted son.

Four Lives Hang In The Balance After Devastating Car Crash

Most likely, Maggie will settle on Brady getting the heart, because it is the only way to help him. Though it is risky and could cause Eric to never wake up from his own coma, there is a treatment option for his infection that could save his life. In addition, Brady also has Theresa (Jen Lilley), and their son, Tate, to come back to.
