The Young and the Restless cast got some time off during the holiday season, but now the thespians are back to work at their CBS set!

On Tuesday quite a few cast members took to social media gushing over being back to work on the soap opera.
For starters, Melissa Claire Egan, the portrayer of Chelsea, snapped a shot of the CBS building upon arriving for filming this year.

"First day back at this great place," she gushed despite the gloomy sky due to the rainy morning.
"Excited to stir up some more drama in 2016!" the actress added.
She then shared a shot with her onscreen lover Adam portrayed by Justin Hartley and his onscreen brother Nick portrayed by Joshua Morrow.

"I work with very handsome men," she declared in the caption.
Fellow The Young and the Restless star Tracey E. Bregman, portrayer of Lauren, was "so happy" to report to set so she could reunite with Jess Walton (Jill on the soap opera), Christian LeBlanc (Michael on the soap opera) and Tristan Rogers (Colin on the soap opera).

She even took a selfie with Walton to commemorate the first day on set of 2016!

Daniel Goddard, the portrayer of Cane, also got in on the selfie-taking by snapping one of himself outside of the CBS building.

LeBlanc took a selfie too, but he included new cast member Jason Thompson who is taking over the role of Billy from Burgess Jenkins.

It seems like Thompson is getting quite the warm welcome to The Young and the Restless family.
