'Outlander' Season 2: What's The Most Challenge Part Of Playing Roger Wakefield? Richard Rankin Speaks Out [VIDEO]
Richard Rankin is about to tumble into the world of Outlander, and bringing the character of Roger Wakefield to life is a challenge the Scotsman is more than ready to take on.
Roger and Brianna will drop into Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie's (Sam Heughan) topsy-turvy world in season 2, and like all actors on the show, Rankin is concerned with doing justice to Diana Gabaldon's beloved characters.
The actor took to Twitter on Monday for a brief Q&A, and when asked what his greatest Outlander challenge is, Rankin told followers that it is "delivering a character that does both the writing and the fans justice."

If doing so also allows him to belt out a few Scottish tunes, Rankin is ready for that too.

Fans are still anxiously awaiting casting news for Roger's wife and Claire and Jamie's daughter, Brianna. While we know some of her Voyager storyline will be brought forward, it is currently unknown to what extent Brianna wil be utilized in season 2.
Outlander will return to Starz this spring.
