You won't have to hop through time to in order to catch 12 Monkey's season 2 premiere - after months of waiting, "Year of the Monkey" is close at hand.

The Syfy series will return to the schedule on April 18, according to Spoiler TV.

Picking up in the wake of Cole's timeline changing actions, season will continue to see Cole (Aaron Stanford) and Dr. Railly (Amanda Schull) splinter through history as everything starts to unravel.

"We're going to the 1940s, the 1950s, 1960s, the '70s. We go to places in the future you never thought you'd see; we go to the future's future," series co-creator Terry Matalas teased, according to Comic Book Resources. "The conspiracy is much larger and we really get to learn about what the Army of the 12 Monkeys really is and what they want."

With Ramse (Kirk Acevedo) alive, Cole seemingly trapped in the past, and Cassie now able to travel to the future, season 2 will certainly look a little different than it's predecessor.

The premiere will be followed by "Primary" on April 25 and "One Hundred Years" on May 2.
