As Blacklist will kick off it's spring run with "The Director" and "The Director: Conclusion," and the midseason combo will have Ms. Keen (Megan Boone) fearing for her life. According to series creator Jon Bokenkamp, her nerves will be warranted.

"There are very few rules that we are afraid of breaking," Bokenkamp told TV Line. "Alan Alda is somebody who we loved having on the show, and it broke my heart that we blew him up in the box, but it felt like that's where the story had to go. We're certainly not afraid of taking some really big swings."

Currently in custody, Liz may never make it to her trial. The Director is still gunning for the profiler, and now that he knows where she is, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Luckily, Liz will have a few good friends on her side.

"While Liz (Megan Boone) awaits trial Red (James Spader) and Aram (Amir Arison) take bold measures to ensure her protection," NBC said of the midseason premiere.
