The Sassenach and the Highlander certainly didn't have the smoothest start to their marriage, and despite Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) pregnancy, the newlyweds will hit a rough patch as the stress of their history-changing mission spills over into their personal life.

"Neither of them feel very comfortable in this role of suspicion and being two faced and doubled sided," Balfe teased in a new featurette (see video below).

One a certain ghost from the past reenters the scene, tensions boil over. Distraught, Jamie (Sam Heughan) will go so far as to pull a knife on his wife.

"You have your choice, him or me?" Jamie yells as he brandishes a small dagger in the comfort of their Parisian apartments.

Is there another man in Claire's life, or is there some other force at play? Book readers know the answer, but it looks like season 2 will be a wild ride for those who don't know the ending.

While an official premiere date has yet to materialize, fans can expect to see Outlander return to Starz in April.
