Gaga won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television, for her role as The Countess in FX's American Horror Story: Hotel. The pop superstar turned actress was visibly surprised and gave an emotional, heartfelt speech and while some fans were cheering hard for her, others were not happy with Gaga's win.
Many Golden Globes watchers were upset that Gaga beat Kirsten Dunst's performance in FX's Fargo, in addition to Queen Latifah's performance in HBO's Bessie. Dunst, in particular, was the odds-on favorite to win the Globe, according to awards experts GoldDerby.
