'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: Major Time Jump Coming, To Bring About A FitzSimmons Shake Up? [VIDEO]
Agents of SHIELD is a fan of interminably long winter hiatuses, but just because we're not watching, that doesn't mean time will crawl to a stop in the MCU.

The events of "Maveth" were as devastating as they were victorious, but viewers won't get to see the immediate aftermath Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Fitz's (Iain De Caestecker) portal adventure. Just as with the summer hiatus, SHIELD will use the break to springboard three months into the future.
In that time, guilt will have a chance to fester and Hydra's new weapon will be able to sink its claws into the instable world of the Inhumans. According to TV Line, life for Coulson's team will be "far from normal."
That's not to say there isn't an upside to the time jump. Fitz and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have been dancing around their feelings for two and a half seasons now, and with Will firmly out of the way, the science wonder twins may have used the ensuing months to get their relationship off the ground.
"Uhhhh, I cannot confirm!" Henstridge teased, according to TV Line. That being said (or not said, rather), "Jemma's feelings haven't changed; they've only gotten stronger."
