Not only will his wife return bearing a child that is most defiantly not his, but she will also be head over heals in love with another man. And, you know, that fact that he is the spitting image of a sadistic twit by the name of Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) won't score him any points either. Genetics, you gotta love 'em.
"There is that reverse thing where every time she looks at Frank, she can't help but see Black Jack," Caitriona Balfe (Claire) teased of the couple's reunion, according to Movie News Guide. "There's many layers of why that relationship is difficult when she goes back. She's definitely not the same woman that left..."

Unsurprisingly, the memory of Black Jack will haunt Jamie (Sam Heughan) as well.
"It certainly played out in Season 2," Heughan said, according to TV Insider. "It's not the primary focus of the season; obviously we go to Paris for this mission [to stop the Battle of Culloden]...[but] Jamie is still affected by the trauma."
