The CIA's Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) closed out season 5 in a coma, and death seemed close at hand courtesy of Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes). While Quinn is certainly in rough shape, executive producer Howard Gordon believes there is a good chance the ailing agent will make a season 6 appearance.
"I will say that Quinn, who is extraordinary ... has a good chance of coming back," Gordon told The Hollywood Reporter. "The way we're thinking about bringing him back - if he does come back - is really exciting to me personally."

Unfortunately, there is a catch. The Quinn who might return will be very different from the man we once knew.
"Quinn is severely damaged - there is no question about it," Gary Levine, Showtime's programming president, told The Hollywood Reporter. "If he should live, it will not be in any way, shape or form the way he has lived to date."
