The truth has been out regarding his real identity for a few months now, but Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) is still struggling to recall the piece of his life from before his presumed death on General Hospital.

Though he was told he was Sam's (Kelly Monaco) husband, Jason initially still wanted to be with Elizabeth because he couldn't recall any memories from his life with Sam. However, he has since become a single man again after learning that Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) had known the truth about who he was for the better part of a year and never told him-but he is still not reunited with Sam because his memories of her have been fleeting.

However, according to reports, that could finally begin to change when Jason recalls a major memory about his past-though it's unclear what exactly he will remember. Past memories that have surfaced included his remembering giving Sam her star necklace one Christmas, and his past meeting with Robin. He hasn't recalled much else about life with Sam though, or the issues he had with Franco (Roger Howarth) in the past. His life as Sonny's (Maurice Benard) enforcer is also something he can't recall, despite knowing he has the ability to act that way in him.

If what he remembers involved Sam, it could finally pave the way for the two to reunite. However, considering his son with Elizabeth, Jake, (James Nigbor) has been suffering from mental issues after being held captive on Cassadine Island for years, the memories triggered could relate back to the past with Franco.

If Jake is ordered to undergo art therapy with Franco, the moment could trigger Jason's memory-and if that does, he could have an intense and severe reaction.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
