The young Arker amassed layers and layers of guilt throughout season 2, and the Mount Weather massacre was the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back. After three months on her own, Clarke (Eliza Clarke) will be the worse for ware.
"She can't deal with the fact that she's hurt as many people as she has," Taylor teased in regards to the season 3 premiere. "In a very unlike-Clarke fashion she runs away, which is weird for her but has actually been a very nice twist for me to play her. She doesn't want to deal with her emotions or the things she's done, so she tries to be someone else."

Dealing with the dangers of a post-apocalyptic forest isn't for the faint of heart. Luckily for Clarke, she's more than capable of battling whatever comes here way, whether it be a Grounder or a rouge panther. In a throwback to season 1, it will be the latter.
"It was really fun to shot," Taylor said of her "Wanheda: Part 1" battle. "We had a live panther on set. I've never seen a live animal like that so close to me. She's gone into super warrior mode."
