Johnson just released a 5678 Fitness DVD and a 5678 Diet book, her diet and exercise program. The pro spoke with People recently about how she used her Dancing With the Stars experience to create a fun program.

"I wanted to create this workout so people can do the dances you see on Dancing with the Stars in a cardio way," Johnson said. "Dancing is such a great form of exercise--you're having fun and you're getting fit. You don't realize you're working out!"

The "5678" diet consists of eating five sources of protein, six colors of the rainbow in your food, seven anti-inflammatory foods and eight glasses of water. Johnson discussed how it's not healthy to push big restrictions on dieters.

"That's an easy way to start changing the way you eat," Johnson said. "When you start depriving yourself of things, you start getting grumpy and you go back to eating bad things. This is this about introducing good foods in your everyday life."

Meanwhile, Johnson has been healthy in her personal life as well. She developed a relationship with her season 20 celebrity partner Robert Herjavec, whom she is still seeing. Johnson spoke on developing her relationship with Herjavec.

"We were friends first, and we got to know each other on a friendship level; I think that's really important," she said. "That developed into something else, and it's really great. We're both each other's number one fans, and have respect for each other."

Dancing With the Stars returns for a new season on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
