'Survivor' Season 32 News: Jeff Probst Teases 'A Lot Of Hardship' In 'Kaoh Rong' [VIDEO]
The next season of CBS's Survivor is going to be even more intense than usual, according to host Jeff Probst.
The cast for Survivor: Kaôh Rōng, the reality show's upcoming 32nd season, was announced Wednesday and along with it, Probst gave some commentary on what fans should expect. Probst spoke with Entertainment Weekly and revealed just how brutal the conditions will be this time around.
"This season is also going to see a lot of hardship," Probst stated. "From the extreme of an evacuation to something as small as a really bad sunburn, every day truly posed a new risk to this group. The heat, the rain, the bugs and the infections were a daily obstacle."

As far as the castaways themselves, there is an eclectic group this season. From a gay gardener born in Vietnam to a renaissance woman to a former NBA player, there are many interesting people that could become classic Survivor characters.
The group is split up into three tribes by personality type--Brawn, Brains and Beauty--exactly like Survivor: Cagayan.
"The division of brains, brawn and beauty once again is really interesting," Probst teased. "Even from the first three days, you see very clear differences within each tribe. And loyalty is a theme this season, but, then again, when isn't it?"
By the sound of it, we are heading into a pretty tough and emotional season of Survivor.
Survivor: Kaôh Rōng premieres Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Much like past seasons, the premiere will be 90 minutes long (including commercials).
