'The Flash' Season 2: 'Welcome To Earth-2' Plot Revealed! Will Jay Get Speed Back?
The Flash and Arrow have spent all season lying the groundwork for DC's latest CW venture, and after months of waiting, Rip Hunter is finally ready to assemble his team.
Hailing from the year 2166, Hunter is out to stop Vandal Savage in whatever century he can. The immortal villain has corrupted Hunter's present so badly that the hero jumps back to 2016, which just so happens to be the last place Savage was allegedly killed. You remember that Flarrow crossover, right?
In order to stop the knife-wielding baddie, Hunter will draw on characters from across the DC TV universe. Villains in their own right, Captain Cold and Heatwave will join up, as will a host of heroes. Atom and White Canary will tap in from the world of Arrow, and Hunter will find friends in The Flash's Firestorm, Hawkgirl, and Hawkman.
As the season progresses, Legends of Tomorrow will hop from the present to the Cold War to the future and back again while his mismatched team struggles to become a cohesive whole.
Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. While The CW does not offer live streaming, fans catch up with the team's latest escapades starting at 1 a.m. ET/10 p.m. ET on the networks website.
