Viewers are not yet privy to the nuances of Colony's dystopian Los Angeles, but the USA series will steadily roll out answers as the freshman series. For now, fans will have to content themselves with the latest round of teasers from executive producer Carlton Cuse.

Drawing inspiration from stories of North Korea's work farms, Cuse and Co. has created a world where even the slightest infringement could land you a one-way ticket to the Factory.

"It's a mystery about what's going on in The Factory. It's connected to the larger mystery of what are "our hosts," as we refer to them, doing here?" Cuse told The Hollywood Reporter, referencing Colony's unseen alien invaders. "We'll definitely learn more about The Factory this year, and it has a lot of ongoing story importance. I don't want to say too much, because it will spoil our plans."
