'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: Where Is Agent Koenig? Patton Oswalt Teases Future [VIDEO]
Agents of SHIELD is missing a Koenig. Twelve of them, actually.
Eric is dead, but Billy and Sam (Patton Oswalt) are still alive and kicking. The alleged twins have been out of the picture for quite sometime, but that doesn't mean Coulson and Co. have forgotten about their ID obsessed pal.
In true Marvel fashion, however, Patton managed to sidestep questions regarding his potential season 3 return while at the 2016 Television Critics Association winter press tour.

"I can't say and that's all I can say," Oswalt said according to Zap2It. "I'm sorry, I don't want to be a pain in the butt, I just can't say."
As for whether or not the Koenigs are Agents of SHIELD's take on Marvel's Life Model Decoy, well, that will continue to remain a mystery as well.
"I have a theory [about my character], and I've heard other people's theories and they're all correct!" Oswalt teased.
Do you think Koenig will crop up at the Playground this spring? Perhaps he will have a few more lanyards to hand out.
Agents of SHIELD will return to ABC on March 8 at 9 p.m. ET.
