'The Flash' Season 2: 'Welcome To Earth-2' Plot Revealed! Will Jay Get Speed Back?
The idea of Barry going down for something he didn't do may have viewers thinking of last year's speed force reveal. One day soon, our hero will find himself behind bars. Luckily, that dark day will not come during season 2.
"Not this season," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly, explaining that the glimpse of the future was a nod to "The Trial of The Flash." "It wasn't something that was consciously have planned, per se, but it was a fun way to honor the comic book. While it always goes through our filter, we do tend to take a lot of stories and ideas from the comics, and that was a way to honor the comics."
