Taissa Farmiga has only appeared in two seasons of FX's American Horror Story, but she's garnered a big fan base in the process--should she come back to the series in season 6?

Should Evan Peters Return Next Season To 'American Horror Story'?

Farmiga made her big debut in the very first season of American Horror Story, later subtitled Murder House. The actress played Violet Harmon, a complicated teenager who moves into the haunted house with her parents, Vivien (Connie Britton) and Ben (Dylan McDermott).

It was in Violet's doomed romance with the equally complicated Tate (Evan Peters) that really made her a fan favorite, though. Violet was also part of one of the biggest twists of the season--a twist that would ultimately lead to the reveal of each season being a self-contained story.

After Murder House, Farmiga took a break but would return for the show's third season, subtitled Coven. There, she played young witch Zoe Benson, who has the power to kill someone through sexual intercourse. Zoe would soon get involved in a love triangle with Kyle Spencer (Peters) and Madison Montgomery (Emma Roberts).

While Zoe may not have been as memorable or iconic as Violet, Farmiga imbued the character with a similarly relatable resolve.

Farmiga has not appeared on American Horror Story since Coven, for reasons unknown. She has proceeded to star in several films, so perhaps she has moved on from the series. But regardless, the actress has a strong fan base that would love to see her take on a new role in season 6.
