Nick is one of 18 new players competing in Survivor: Kaoh Rong--Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty. A personal trainer, Nick has been placed on the Beauty tribe, which is made up of players who utilize attractiveness and charm in their daily lives.
His CBS bio suggests either a wickedly dry sense of humor or an overinflated ego--some may see both. Discussing his personal claim to fame, he says, "I'll always be a better listener than you. Meaning, I listen to people better than you do."

He goes on to say that he is more interested in and accepting of others "than you" and even if he sometimes just pretends to be interested in what others have to say, he is at least putting in effort.
As for past Survivor contestants who are most like him, Nick likens himself to Courtney Yates and Jonathan Penner. Both are well known for their quippy soundbites and observations, and while Nick thinks he is similar, he also says he will be a better social player than either of them.
Discussing why he has what it takes to win Survivor, Nick gives a very frank answer.
"It's simple. I'm charismatic and manipulative. This isn't something I'm proud to admit, but it's true."
