Season 6 of American Horror Story may focus on the Internet meme Slender Man, according to a new Us Weekly report. Slender Man is a very tall being dressed in all black who stalks children; the meme was created back in 2009 and has taken many forms all over the Internet.
"Someone else wrote the script, and AHS wants to adapt it to fit the show," an insider told Us Weekly. "They have to buy the rights. Then they're going to figure out the cast from there."

Assuming Slender Man is the main focus of the new season, it would be the first time American Horror Story has adapted one legend as its primary story. It's also possible that the use of Slender Man is part of a greater story regarding urban legends - particularly of the woodland variety.
The only cast member confirmed by showrunner Ryan Murphy so far is Angela Bassett. Will Lady Gaga return after making her big debut in Hotel? Producers are apparently attempting to get her to return.
"They're trying really hard to get her back!" the insider said.
