'Outlander' Season 2: Brianna Cast! Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe & More React [VIDEO]
Outlander's Bree Watch 2016 is over.
After a seemingly interminable wait, the Starz series has its Brianna. Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) 20-year-old daughter will take the screen in season 2, and she will be played by So Awkward's Sophie Skelton!
The England native has transitioned from a brunet to a fiery redhead for the part, and while she'll grow up believing Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) is her father, Jamie's Highlander looks will say otherwise.
'Outlander' Season 2: Claire & Frank Face A 'Difficult' Reunion, Can They Move Past Her Other Life?
"Strong-minded and intelligent beyond her years (traits inherited from both her mother and father), Brianna has a distinctly scholastic mind-set and a healthy dose of Fraser stubbornness," TV Line teased.
Raised in post-war America, Brianna's Drums of Autumn storyline will slide into season 2 as the Fraser legacy dives into the past in an attempt to meet the father she never knew. Meanwhile, in the present, Roger Wakefield (Richard Rankin) will enter the scene as her future husband.
The Outlander cast took to Twitter on Thursday to welcome their newest member:
Outlander will return to Starz this April.
