They are working to try and figure out what secrets Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) is keeping and want to know why she seems to be so fixated on their relationship, forcing Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) to take the next step in their plot to expose her on The Young and the Restless.

Hilary Clashes With Nikki

The two began the plot with Nick having an intimate dinner with the doctor, complaining about his wife's behavior, which she walked in on. After a reaction that led to unexpected assault charges, the two took the plan to the next level by Nick "committing" her for a 72-hour psychiatric hold. Now, as they secretly work together, they will need to make sure they can convince everyone else that Sage needs help--while Nick works to seduce the truth from Dr. Anderson.

However, complications with the plan could begin to emerge after Barton (Terrell Tilford) realizes Sage is putting on an act--and demands answers from her about why she's trying to get herself committed.

Nick and Sage Start Planning To Expose Dr. Anderson

"It's just the two of us now," he says in a preview clip for the Monday, Feb. 1 episode. "Suppose you tell me what's really going on?"

However, Sage can't actually disclose the truth, so she will divulge a partial truth by telling him she is faking everything, but that it's part of a plan to expose Nick as a cheater and Dr. Anderson as his mistress.

Meanwhile, Nick will need to explain his actions to Adam (Justin Hartley), who had a bad reaction to learning his brother was committing yet another wife. Now, while also keeping the truth a secret, Nick will confront his brother about the situation.

"We need to talk about Sage. Let's just get everything out in the open," he says in the clip.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
