Grimm is ready to dive into Japanese mythology, and the fallout will be devastating.

Grimm' Season 5: Eve 'Doesn't Care' About Nick, Find Out Her New Reason To Live

Gilmore Girls alum Keiko Agena will join the cast for episode 17, a grieving Japanese-American mother who recently lost her son in an unnamed tragedy. Named Madoka Akagi, TV Line reports that the character will be involved in a related trial as the episode begins.

Madoka's husband believes their son's untimely death was not quite the accident authorities have branded it. The title of the episode, "Inguami," invokes the myth of a particularly vicious supernatural dog. It's safe to say the murderous werewolf-like creature will rear its head during the hour.

Agena's character may even get the chance to woge out. The actress posted a photo from set on Monday as she prepped for CGI work.
