AMC's The Walking Dead continues to dominate the ratings war with over 11 million viewers, as it can't get episodes out quick enough to prevent its fans from scouring the Internet for the latest spoilers.

While information past this week's Season three episode is limited, actress Danai Gurira (Michonne) did give her take on the show and its future to Hero Complex.

"What I've liked about the season so far is that it's full of surprises. Obviously the stars might be aligned for Rick and the Governor to have some sort of meeting, but maybe the show will shoot that in a very surprising way. I think it's not going to give you what you want in the way that you want it, and I think that's what I've enjoyed in the second half of the season."

Gurira also touched on the art and feel of the show, which she thinks gives the actors great command of their character development.

"There's something about this show where the actors have such a beautiful ownership of what goes into the camera frame. People want everyone to do excellently, and they let you know when you have."

David Morrissey (The Governor) also praised the actors as well as the cast and crew's collaborative effort along with Andrew Lincoln's (Rick) presence when speaking to SFX Magazine.

"There's such encouragement of fellow excellence. It's so collaborative. It's something that the lead of the show, Andy Lincoln, really brings to light. There's something so pure about him; there's no ego, it's all about the work. He sets a beautiful example that way; he's kind, encouraging, congratulatory, really happy for great stuff to happen. He's a true actor."

The Walking Dead is set to return on Sunday, March 3 at 9 p.m. ET with an all-new episode titled Clear.
