Laura Prepon is boldly calling season 4 of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black the best one yet.

Will Poussey & Soso's Romance Blossom On 'Orange Is the New Black' Next Season?

Prepon, who plays Alex Vause on Orange Is the New Black, spoke with Entertainment Weekly recently about season 4--particularly for her character.

"What's cool is season 4 actually picks up right where season 3 left off. So it's literally, it continues five seconds later, which is really great because at the end of last season...I was in the greenhouse, and there was all this craziness going on and it's awesome," she said.

As fans will recall, the season 3 finale featured Alex realizing that her former boss, Kubra (Eyas Younis) had sent a hitman to kill her. She was left in a precarious situation in the prison's greenhouse and her fate was left up in the air.

But it sounds like Alex is going to be okay in the end. Prepon said Alex will have an "F you Piper" moment - considering Piper (Taylor Schilling) did not believe that Kubra would send someone to kill her.

"That's their relationship, and that's what's so interesting about them," Prepon explained further. "They love each other and they hate each other, and it's frustrating and passionate, but there's definitely some vindication there, for sure. Piper thought she was crazy all season, but she wasn't."

Finally, Prepon said that season 4 "is one of our best by far, and I think the fans are going to be really happy," she said. "Our writers are so good and Jenji [Kohan] is just so awesome, and they really, we just keep proving ourselves over and over again and Netflix just let's us do our thing, man, it's incredible."

Orange Is the New Black season 4 will be released in full on Friday, June 17 on Netflix.
