Contributing to TVLine's spoiler report actress Karla Souza, who plays the part of Laurel in How to Get Away With Murder, dished about her character, Laurel's arc in season 2.

Frank And Laurel To Become An Official Couple Going Forward?

The actress revealed that Laurel and Annalise's (Viola Davis) bond will actually strengthen as the chapter moves along.

"You'll see, in the first episode back - it's like a whole thing, that nobody knows about. Annalise dumps a lot of responsibility on her, and you're going to see how Laurel deals with it," she said.

Additionally Laurel's protectiveness toward Wes (Alfred Enoch) will also be a point of focus as it gets even "more complicated and more bizarre."

Laurel will also be wary of the fact that Annalise knows so much about her, for instance the secrets about her father.

"Laurel realizes that this woman knows more about us than we even know, that there's a reason why she picked every one of us," Souza said. "And that's going to open up a whole other emotional journey for each of them."

The midseason premiere episode titled 'What Happened to You, Annalise?' will air on Feb. 11.
