Hilary Regains Her Memories

Despite his wife Chelsea's (Melissa Clare Egan) objections to his once again taking on a dangerous endeavor by teaming up with his father, Adam will go through with the secret plan to destroy the Santoris by tricking Luca into believing they are both turning in information about their individual fathers' illegal doings. But Chelsea will be the one who gets the big surprise when Marisa (Sofia Pernas) shows up and seems aware that Adam is setting Luca up—and she will demand answers from his wife so she can stop it from happening.

"I need to know where Adam is springing the trap on Luca," she says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Feb. 3 episode. "I need to stop this before all hell breaks loose."

Sage & Nick Take The Next Stop In Their Plot

However, even if Chelsea decides to come clean to Marisa and tell her what she also knows, it will be too late. Adam will successfully trick Luca into handing over documents exposing his father to a man he believes is from the FBI-but is really a Newman employee. And now, when Luca threatens to turn Noah (Robert Adamson) in for Billy's (Jason Thompson) hit and run, Adam will remind Luca that he has to act on his terms—because his father will turn on him if he realizes his own son is the one who sold him out.

"How do you think he's going to respond when he figures out this isn't something we just found out?" Adam says in the clip. "You're the one that ratted him out."
