'The Real World Portland' Cast, Premiere Date, Trailer [VIDEO]
Eight athletic strangers were picked to live in a house in hipster capital Portland, as MTV gets ready to premiere its 28th season of The Real World on March 27.
There will be five women, three men and a dog in the cast. And like its previous seasons, there is plenty of expected drama between a cast from an array of backgrounds. Especially when one castmate will leave early, according to mtvpress.com.
"But this season, relationships evolve and turn on a dime, so you'll have to tune in to keep track of the endless surprises as these roommates go from friends to enemies again and again," reads the MTV press release.
The cast includes Anastasia, 22, who has a father in and out of jail and a history of alcohol-related traumas; small town Southern Belle Jessica, 21; Jordan, 22, a stubborn overachiever born without fingers on his left hand who will clash with his castmates; and "Hurricane" Nia, 23, a smart yet explosive Howard University graduate.
Relationships will sprout between proud Hooters girl Averey, 21, who brings her dog Daisy and former Massachusetts jock Johnny, 21, who doesn't hold back what's on his mind yet has a guard up with relationships.
Joi, 22, has strict parents and is decked with tattoos and nipple piercings and is alleged to have a romance with cast mate Marlon, 24, who is the son of a preacher.
MTV's site explains that the cast will be working at "two of the hippest local eateries." The cast will be living in the Pearl District, which has a desired plethora of bars.
The show will start at 10 p.m. EST.
