The Flash's Wally West has a need for speed, but his run in with the Speed Force is a longs ways off.

It's safe to say Wally's (Keiynan Lonsdale) drag racing days are behind him, and that will leave Joe's son itching for a new way to watch the world fly by. While fans are itching for the newbie to take on the Kid Flash mantel, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg doesn't anticipate a trio of Flashes taking to the streets anytime soon.

"I guess that could happen down the road," Kreisberg said of a Scarlet Speedster/Crimson Comet/Kid Flash team up, according to Entertainment Weekly. "I wouldn't want to say no, but so much of that stuff is a little bit further into the future than we've planned for right now."

When Barry (Grant Gustin) heads to Earth-2, however, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) will spend her time perfecting Velocity 9 (see video below). Jay (Teddy Sears) will undoubtedly need a dose of the new formula if he wants to take down Geomancer, and baring any negative side effects, the serum could help get at least one speedster on their feet. As for how Wally will get his powers, well, that remains a mystery.

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
