'Girl Meets World' Cast: Teo Halm to Play Cory and Topanga's Son, Alums Might Appear On New Series
Girl Meets World finally settled on a new cast member for the spinoff of classic 90's hit Boy Meets World.
Actor Teo Halm will be playing Elliot Matthews, the son of Cory and Topanga and the brother of Riley Matthews, who will be the main character on the show.
Halm had an appearance on the television series Nova and will be in the upcoming film Bukowski in 2014, a film about writer Charles Bukowski that was scripted and directed by James Franco.
The Huffington Post reported that Ben Savage will come back as Cory Matthews and Danielle Fishel will reprise her role as his dream girl and wife Topanga Lawrence.
In the new series, Savage will be a history teacher at the school he once attended, the same school his daughter will attend on the show.
The Huffington Post reported that there is no definite say whether or not other cast members will appear on the show.
Rider Strong, who played Cory's best friend Shawn in Boy Meets World, wrote on his Web site "The Strong Brothers Magic Show;" "There might be a chance to see some of the [Boy Meets World] cast in a guest spot, and I think it would be nice to find out where our characters have been all these years. But Girl Meets World will be, and I think it should be, it's own show. It will be about Cory and Topanga, their daughter, and a new set of characters."
