They're known for their competitive nature as Ultimate Frisbee players, but Brodie and Kurt are going to be paying attention to the teams that won't seem quite as competitive on The Amazing Race.

The best friends opened up in a pre-Race interview with CBS, where they admitted that the competition might be fierce, but they know which teams to look out for because they'll be the hardest ones to beat in the end.

"Its so hard to predict who's going to be good," Brodie says. "Those teams that are a little more quiet and under the radar, those are the teams that are paying attention to everything."

"Teams that are flying under the radar are the ones we need to look out for," Kurt adds.

The two also admit that watching those kind of competitors might help persuade them to adopt similar tactics-where instead of focusing on being first as fast as possible, they'll pay more attention to the little details, which can help them succeed more in the long run.

"Brodie and I are so competitive, as soon as we see something, like an opportunity for us to win a game or something, we go for it," Kurt says. "But here, we've been telling ourselves already, take it slow, slow down, read the whole clue. All those little things, that is we can do those things right, I think we can set ourselves up for success."

The Amazing Race season 28 premieres Friday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
