'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Season 7: Teresa Giudice Draws The Line, Refuses To Do This Reality Show [VIDEO]
Apparently Teresa Giudice of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t up for doing just any kind of reality show.
Teresa Giudice ‘Feeling Blessed’ After House Arrest Ends
New reports confirm that Giudice was asked to compete for the mirror-ball trophy on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. She said no.
“Teresa was offered a six-figure sum, but she decided against it,” one source told Page Six Sunday. “She feels that she needs to spend time with her family and be there for her children right now.”
Teresa Giudice Faces Another Snag
Teresa was just released from jail after just more than 11 months on Dec. 23. She and her husband Joe Giudice pleaded guilty to several serious fraud charges from loan and mortgage to bankruptcy. She was sentenced to 15 months and just ended her house arrest stint this past Friday.
And considering Joe still has to serve his more than three year sentence, it’s no surprise she wants to cherish the family moments they have.
Still, she isn’t completely axing out reality television. After all, she and her husband are still said to owe the government about a half a million dollars because of their now very high profile scandal. She is still taping for The Real Housewives of New Jersey and is also promoting her book about her life behind bars—Turning The Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, which will be released Feb. 9
It’s not clear when Joe will begin his sentence. But there is also a possibility he will be deported back to Italy upon his release.
