'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: Secret Warriors Galore? Midseason Premiere Title & Plot
Now that Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) and Joey (Juan Pablo Raba) have joined up, Agents of SHIELD will start building Daisy's (Chloe Bennet) Secret Warriors in earnest this spring. The world is rife with recently transformed Inhumans, and when the midseason premiere rolls around, the SHIELD's super powered team will come in contact with a slew of potential new allies.
"Daisy and the team encounter more Inhumans who have powers like they've never seen before, but will they be friends or enemies of S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Entertainment Weekly teased.
The March 8 episode is titled "Bounce Back," presumably in reference to Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Fitz's (Iain De Caestecker) emotionally exhausting midseason finale (see video below). However, there could be a second interpretation.
Agents of SHIELD is primed to introduce Yo Yo Rodriguez (Natalia Cordova-Buckley), and if anyone has the ability to "Bounce Back," it's Slingshot. A speedster, Yo Yo is not quite like DC's Flash. Whereas Barry Allen can run anywhere he wants, Slingshot must return to her starting point.
