They may look like the kinds of girls that everyone won't take seriously, but Instagram models Britt Oldehoff and Jessica VerSteeg are warning their competitors that they can be more than pretty faces on The Amazing Race.

Cameron & Darius Dish on Their 'Skill Set'

In a pre-race interview with CBS, the two dished on how even though they are full-time models who do pay attention to their looks for their careers, they shouldn't be thought of as people who can't complete some of the challenges thrown their way on the race because their backgrounds have them prepared for the worst case scenarios.

"We're actually country girls, so I guess that we come from a more masculine background," Britt says. "...We can do the girly things or we can do the guy things."

Blair & Scott Think Being Opposites Will Be A Benefit

The two also know how important alliances in the race could be, and have every intention of getting aligned to at least two other teams who they think will make great friends to have.

"I think we're going to buddy up to Cole and his mom, and probably Tyler Oakley," Britt says. "He's just a little gem."

In addition they also hope that their approachable demeanors will also give them an edge when they get to other countries as well, since people will hopefully be more amenable to helping them.

The Amazing Race season 28 premieres Friday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
