'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers: New PHOTO Teases Sansa's Fate, Is She Carrying Ramsay Bolton's Child?
Fans have been eagerly awaiting some clues about the upcoming season of Game of Thrones, but the release of several new photos featuring the show's cast may be lending more questions than answers.
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie Continue Fueling Dating Rumors
Not only do the photos completely omit any possibility of answers for the biggest questions fans have about the new season--is Jon Snow alive or dead--but some of them seem to hint that some characters' fates are completely different from what anyone expected after the season five finale.
Among those characters is Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), who was last seen jumping from the top of one of Winterfell's walls with Theon (Alfie Allen) as they tried to escape Ramsay Bolton, who was torturing both of them--Sansa as his wife, and Theon as his prisoner. And while one photo does show that the two survived their jump, a second photo of Sansa raises a more alarming question--is she carrying Ramsay's heir?

A shot of the character standing in the show appears to show her exhibiting tell-tale signs of pregnancy, with a puffier-looking face and a slightly protruded belly. There had been no hint Sansa might be pregnant in the season five finale, though it was clear she was no longer a virgin after a scene that caused controversy, featuring Ramsay raping her on their wedding night.
If she is pregnant with Ramsay's child, however, it could mean that if she and Theon are found, it will only make it that much harder for her to escape again, as her child would be the heir to Winterfell--and exactly what the Boltons need to maintain their hold of the territory. However, she and Theon could be thinking up ways to try and continue their escape plan, and possibly trying to fake a pregnancy could be the key to providing their escape.
Game of Thrones season 6 premieres April 24th at 9 p.m. on HBO.
