WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is headed to Springfield, confirms Entertainment Weekly.

Assange, who is currently under house arrest in the UK, will appear as himself on The Simpsons' 500th episode.

According to EW, Assange recorded his lines in an unknown location, but received direction from executive producer Al Jean.

"I was just given a number to call," said Jean.

The Simpsons encounter the controversial figure after moving to a remote location. "[T]he Simpsons go off the grid to this very rugged place where they meet [Assange], who's sort of their new Flanders," Jean stated.

The monumental episode is scheduled to air February 19. Meanwhile, Assange is getting ready to launch his new talk show in March.
