If you though the Charlotte reveal was jaw dropping, you should brace yourself for Pretty Little Liars' "ultimate surprise."
Hanna, Ali, Spencer, Aria, and Emily returned to Rosewood only to find themselves hunted by a new evil. With Uber A on the loose and the Liars on the defensive, viewers are racking their brains in an attempt to identify the new baddie. When the truth does come out, the culprit's story will help slide seven pieces worth of puzzle pieces into place.
"I believe it is the ultimate surprise. I hope you will agree," showrunner Marlene King said of the big reveal.

There is some debate over whether or not Uber A is also Charlotte's killer. It seems unlikely, particularly consider the texting villain seems hell-bent on getting the liars to reveal the murder to him/her. Nevertheless, that question will also be answered over the next year.
"You will find out before the end of season 7," King teased.
We'd better. Otherwise PLL may not get another chance to tell us. Despite what fans may hope, it is becoming increasingly clear that season 7 could be the definitive end to the Liars' tail.
"[Season 7 is] most likely the end of the road," King confirmed on Tuesday.
