They've been working on mending their relationship, but the fears that Katie (Heather Tom) will be unable to let go of Brooke's (Katherine Kelly Lang) confession to Bill (Don Diamont) is starting to raise some major concerns on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke's Attempt To Make Peace With Katie Fails Horribly

Brooke is fearful his sister will never be able to forgive--and could drive her husband away--and will discuss the situation with her daughter, Bridget (Ashley Jones) after she heads back to town.

"So she's okay now?" Bridget asks her mother in a preview clip for the Wednesday, February 17 episode.

"I'm a little worried about her," Brooke admits. "When she overheard me say those things to Bill, her insecurities came out."

As the two continue discussing the situation, however, Bridget may try to pry other information out of her mother--including whether or not she is secretly hoping Katie could drive Bill away, which would free him up to welcome Brooke back into his arms.

However, Brooke will maintain that even though she does still love Bill, she would never do anything to harm Katie's marriage to him.

"I would never interfere in his relationship with Katie, or their family," she says in the clip.

However, the situation is still going to be tense either way, as Katie is not going to recover from the betrayal she feels by Brooke again any time soon.

The Boold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
