They parted ways at the beginning of the summer because Amy (Rita Volk) needed a break when her feelings for Karma (Katie Stevens) returned, but that separation may have been the end of Karmy all together on Faking It.

Karma & Amy Forced To Confront Their Feelings

In a new trailer for the show's upcoming third season, Amy returns to town after a summer away, asking Karma if they can pick things up again as friends, only to learn that Karma--who has since struck up a much closer friendship with Shane (Michael J Willett)--doesn't have interest in their friendship anymore.

"How about we get back to being BFFs? Because your friendship means the world to me," Amy says in the trailer.

Karma To 'Resent' Amy For Leaving?

"If you wanted everything to stay the same, then maybe you shouldn't have left," Karma snaps back.

And with that, the best friendship that Hester High has seen comes to an end--and as much as Amy tries to pay it off like it's no big deal to Felix (Parker Mack), he will remind her that it isn't something she can pretend isn't a problem.

"Karma and I aren't really friends anymore, it's so not a big deal," she says.

"That's like saying the Titanic hit so not a big iceberg," Felix replies.

However, Karma's situation also won't be any better, after it becomes clear that her love life will also take a dive, when she realizes Liam (Gregg Sulkin) has also gotten past their own history as well.

"I'm totally over you," he says.

"Yay! I love everybody being over me," she replies.

Faking It season 3 premieres March 15 at 10:30 p.m. on MTV.
