'Bold and the Beautiful' Cast News: Kim Matula Lands New Role, What It Means For Potential Return To Soap [PHOTO]
Fans have been hoping for some time to see Kim Matula return to The Bold and the Beautiful as Hope Logan, but they're going to have to wait a bit longer to see if she'll consider returning to her roots.
The actress has booked a new primetime role for season two of Lifetime's UnREAL-which will likely interfere with her ability to head back to CBS and resume the role she shockingly left back in December 2014.
According to Variety, Matula has landed the role of one of the women who will be vying for the heart of the newest Bachelor for the show-with-a-show, Everlasting, and is labeled as a series regular, meaning she will play a larger role throughout the season. According to the report, her character's name is Tiffany, a hot, smart and rich all-American girl who's the daughter of a professional football team owner, and who hopes that appearing on the show will help her step out of her shadow.
She joins fellow show newbies, Megan Tandy (as contestant Chantal), Denee Benton and Monica Barbaro as other contestants, Michael Rady as a filmmaker, Gentry White as bachelor Darius' cousin, and BJ Britt as Darius himself. They all will appear alongside season one holdouts, Constance Zimmer as Quinn and Shiri Appleby as Rachel, two of the producers on the show.
And though the new project means there wouldn't be time for Matula to work on B&B, there was actually no hint she was making plans to return to the soap, despite fans constantly hoping she would. She has denied reports of a return several times since her departure.
