Granger (Miguel Ferrer) believes the techie is ready to spread his wings, but, as always, Hetty is a little more in tune with her team than the Assistant Director. Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) are tasked with outfitting Eric (Barrett Foa) for the field in a new "Matryoshka: Part 2" sneak peek, and it's safe to say that Hetty's concerns are not misplaced.

Eric, however, always has a way of proving himself. He's dodged bullets on rooftops, he's been held hostage, and he's helped save Los Angeles every week for the last seven years. We think he'll do fine. Okay, okay - we hope he'll do fine. As long as the team's most innocent member never has to take a life, everything should go according to plan.

While Deeks, Kensi, and Eric have their boots on the ground in LA, Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam (LL Cool J), and Anna (Bar Paly) will be working a covert mission in Russia. As the latter trio attempts to launch a prison break in the motherland, Callen will finally learn his real name.
